Signature Claypot Loh Shu Fun in Broga
11 November 2006 - 8:03pm - coolfireWell, this is my 1st blog over here, so any comments are most welcome ;-)
I had lunch at this place called Ka Heong Seafood Restaurant in Broga (a small lil town). The food here are nice and are resonably priced. Im going to introduce few of its noodles series that I feel thats worth trying.
1st of all is off cos their signature Claypot Loh Shu Fun. As you all would know, loh shu fun texture are usually very smooth and spongy, hence with the thick gravy cooked in a claypot, you'll find it difficult to use a chopstick due to its smoothness and thick gravy. Beneath the gravy, you will find some minced meat, and top with an egg. The egg is raw when its 1st served, but once you have mixed it with the loh shu fun, it'll be just nice....trust me, its mouth-watering!!! ;-)

Besides, they also serve Indian Mee Goreng. Yes a Chinese restaurant serving Indian mee goreng. Surprisingly, it tastes really great! The testure of the noodle and the spices used were just nice. I would say, it tastes better than most of the mee goreng you'll find at a mamak stall ;-)
The Fresh Grilled Fish in Broga Kajang
27 October 2006 - 11:15pm - fishballToday I am going to bring you to eat fish just beside a lake. You can enjoy the meal and at the same time watch fishes swimming freely in the water. Yes, this is a wonderful place to eat grilled fish. It is located in a very remote area where it does not even exist in the map. To get to this place, you have to know the location of a very famous chinese temple in Broga Kajang. This temple is with the name "shi na tok". After you reach the front gate of the temple, take a turn to your left and go straight and you can see the restaurant on your left.
This is the view taken from the restaurant.
As you can see from the picture, the dining place is just located beside the lake.
