What would you like to drink? Anything or Whatever
7 July 2007 - 6:50pm - fried-tomatoThis is something that i found interesting during my visit at Singapore, when we were stopped by at a restaurant for dinner, and the waiter asked what we want to drink. My singapore colleague said "Anything", and me go like what? How could she said something like that.
So check it out, this is the "anything" that she ordered.

Ah Mei Curry Fish at Singapore IOI Plaza
26 June 2007 - 3:56am - fried-tomato
If you like curry and also you just happened to be in Singapore, IOI Plaza then you should check out the Curry Fish at the Ah Mei Restaurant. I would rate it 3.8 out of 5 and the curry chicken also pretty decent. It is nice although just eating it with white rice. During my stay at singapore, we have gone three times to this place. btw it is priced at SG4

Mother's Day special - What do we do on mother's day - part 1
17 May 2007 - 5:20pm - fried-tomatoThis is what we did on the 12 May 2007, mother's day . I have suggested to my sister to cook a dinner for mum. The reasons are mother's day is getting commercialize so eating out on that day going to be expensive and it going to be so crowded with people. Further, we could experience how it feel like to perpare and cook the food everyday.

The Taiwanese Food search continued at Restoran Taiwan Noodle House, ss2
28 January 2007 - 7:30am - fried-tomato
The taiwanese food search had continued, and now i had found some good taiwanese food that worth talking and i liked. First will be the pork chop, try it now or regret later. The pork chop comes with certain noodles but if you were to just order the pork chop, it is extra rm4.00. (i felt that it is a little expensive for that little portion)

This is the one i ordered the "chap choi" noodles, it tastes really good after you put in all the red chillies that come with the noodles. Not denying the chillies here is good.

Curry Chicken Bun @ Lukut, Port Dickson
19 January 2007 - 8:11am - fried-tomato
I have been traveling to port dickson quite often these days, so every time when i came without fail this will be my lunch. This is kinda new dish in Malaysia, so far i have not seen many places sell this and i am sure in this coming year it will be very famous. This is the first curry chicken bun i have tasted, so no comparison i can't make but this is good. All my colleagues who came here got addicted with the curry chicken bun.

Choose the right food at Right 4u Cafe, Petaling Jaya
7 January 2007 - 8:50am - fried-tomatoThis restaurant is kinda special, you might wondering why i titled it as "Choose the right food at Right 4u Cafe". I believe many people could not make up their minds when it comes to food ordering, at there you will not have the problem because you can let your blood type decide your food.
According to research by Dr. Peter D'Adamo, he said this in his book, the New York Times best-seller Eat Right 4 Your Type. "Follow a diet that’s designed specifically for your blood group and you’ll lose weight, feel healthier and lower your risk of many diseases." sound cool huh? but others also have a different view

Hakka Food at Hakka Recipe Restaurant
30 December 2006 - 10:41pm - fried-tomatoLet start with the history of Hakka, before we talk about the nice Hakka food. Hakka people are migratory tribes of ethnic Han people originated from central. There is a mistaken view that Hakka cuisine is pragmatic and based on preserved foods. Hakka cuisine concentrates on the texture of food - the hallmark of Hakka cuisine. At here, they have a very nice seating and a very cosy surroundings.

The signature dish at Hakka Recipe Restaurant, "yong tau fu" 釀豆腐 (stuffed tofu cube) for this size it is only cost 80sen each. (ps, there are two tau fu in that) The tofu cube was heaped with minced meat and braised with soup and some places they deep fried it till golden brown.

The return of Taiwanese Food search, at Little Taiwan Subang Jaya
29 December 2006 - 11:25pm - fried-tomatoThe search of Taiwanese Food has returned, at subang jaya we found another new spot for Taiwanese Food. It is at the shoplot opposite Taylor college. After my first experience on Taiwanese food at Restoran Neighbourhood at Damansara Perdana which i blogged few weeks back, i decided to give taiwanese food another try.

Although i could not convice myself to like Taiwanese food, but i just like trying it because of it's variety. So this time we tried something different again, the taiwanese speacial toast, if you read chinese you know from the menu it is called 棺材面包 direct translated as: coffin bread, and because of that my gf said don't order this. fainted~ what a superstitious lady. RM 5.90, i don't quite like this but i will still continue the search until i found taiwanese food that i like.

Eating at Seafood Pradise, Telok Gong
25 December 2006 - 10:16am - fried-tomato
It was my mum's b'day so we took this good opportunity a.k.a excuse for some "healthy" food. So this time, we traveled abit far to telok gong for some seafood. Telok gong is very famous for its seafood and at here not just one seafood restaurant you can find but a dozen. The most well known is the coconut flower garden, but this time we go to this instead.
