Signature Claypot Loh Shu Fun in Broga
Well, this is my 1st blog over here, so any comments are most welcome ;-)
I had lunch at this place called Ka Heong Seafood Restaurant in Broga (a small lil town). The food here are nice and are resonably priced. Im going to introduce few of its noodles series that I feel thats worth trying.
1st of all is off cos their signature Claypot Loh Shu Fun. As you all would know, loh shu fun texture are usually very smooth and spongy, hence with the thick gravy cooked in a claypot, you'll find it difficult to use a chopstick due to its smoothness and thick gravy. Beneath the gravy, you will find some minced meat, and top with an egg. The egg is raw when its 1st served, but once you have mixed it with the loh shu fun, it'll be just nice....trust me, its mouth-watering!!! ;-)

Besides, they also serve Indian Mee Goreng. Yes a Chinese restaurant serving Indian mee goreng. Surprisingly, it tastes really great! The testure of the noodle and the spices used were just nice. I would say, it tastes better than most of the mee goreng you'll find at a mamak stall ;-)

Beside their noodles, one of my friend had the King of Pork Ribs Rice (direct translation...hehe). Pork ribs are kind of sensitive, they tend to get really hard when over-cooked. However, the chef have controlled this really well. Its tenderness covered with its gravy with a mild chinese rice-wine aroma....its perfection!!!

So, I guess thats it this time around. I'll write more on the dishes when Im goin over next time around, so stay tune for more...;-)
This restaurant is located in the small lil Broga town, its just along the way to the Shi Na Tok Temple (on your right hand side of a stretch of shops).

Welcome coolfire, how much
Welcome coolfire, how much is this Claypot Loh Shu Fun? This is the first time, seeing the Claypot Loh Shu Fun cooked in such way. There is this Claypot Loh Shu Fun at Taman Tun Dr Ismail, that used raw egg as well and that was my first time eating Loh Shu Fun with raw egg.
Do they have maggie goreng or indo mee? since myself not a great fan of mee. Your direct translation is so funny, it taken me a while to figure out what it is.
Well, then i will subscribe to your blog and "tuned" for more good food blog from you.
Welcome to blog world
The Loh Shu Fun really looks nice and I think i tried before. It was really good and I think it is the best mee in this restaurant if i am not mistaken.:)
